Paper Description
Paper Structure
This paper will be taught for twelve weeks during Semester A, from Monday 25 February - Monday 27 May 2017. The lectures will be on Monday mornings from 10am-12pm. There are two tutorial options on Tuesday from 1-2pm OR 2-3pm and one on Wednesday at 3-4pm which will start in Week 1. You will need to sign up to these tutorials on Moodle. More instructions on how to sign up to these tutorials will be given on Moodle and in the first class on Monday 25 February.
The medium of delivery favours a bilingual approach and the teaching strategies are based on Māori pedagogical practices and communicative language teaching methodologies where possible. These classes will be a mixture of lectures and tutorials. Resources will be available on Moodle and can be accessed through the following link: or http://elearn.waikato.ac.nz/. The lecture room for this paper is TCBD.2.12 and the tutorials are in TCBD.G.03. Reminders about class locations will be given through Moodle closer to the start of semester as well.
